“Embodying Joy in Outdoor Play and Learning”

There is much to celebrate and for which to be grateful about childhood surrounded by nature! How can adults be sculptors of energy and builders of community when supporting children in play? How does our understanding of the natural flow of play impact our decisions when working with children in play settings? Daniel will share stories of play and discuss how educator energy and intention can help sculpt play experiences of children through listening, acknowledging ideas and being playful alongside children. The session will be playful in its own essence, with bursts of joy and ideas for how educators can step into being exuberant and engaging play partners. Educators are invited to embrace this joy and learn ways to engage outdoors playfully with children to help build community and relationships.
