Conference session from 10:30-11:30 am -Children need to play in school. For so many reasons we know this is true, but it can be hard to keep it on the schedule with all the current academic demands. The Beautiful Stuff Project Treasure Box Curriculum (TBSP) was designed to meet this challenge. In this hands-on workshop participants will learn all about the history, philosophy, and practice of this teacher-driven organization and their unique approach to curating play experiences for young children with their loose parts treasure boxes. All attendees will leave this session with specific ideas for implementing play in new ways in their settings.
